A total of 30 male spouses of household-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program from Dolores, Quezon completed the Gender Sensitivity Training for Male Spouses (GSTFMS) conducted by the DSWD in partnership with the local government unit of the said town and the Philippine National Police last October 13.

The GSTFMS is an initiative of the Field Office IV-A since 2016 that targets male spouses of 4Ps households to increase their awareness on gender equality, especially in their respective homes, to promote better family relations.

According to 4Ps Municipal Link John Lloyd Cañones, the said training is also an entry point for these beneficiaries to be involved in organizations advocating against any form of gender-based violence. [with reports from JLOCañones]
