Products of the Skills and Livelihood Trainings of DSWD in CALABARZON Region

As part of the interventions of the DSWD in helping improve the lives of the disadvantaged sectors, various skills development and livelihood opportunities are provided to client-stakeholders through the different programs and services of the Department. These include the Sustainable Livelihood Program, the Kalahi-CIDSS NCDDP, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, and the different livelihood and rehabilitation services being provided at the residential facilities.

To showcase the results of these interventions as well as the hard work of our client-stakeholders, the DSWD hosts the PRODUKTO, a dedicated online site aimed at providing support on the marketing of their different products. This site also aims to initiate the establishment of an engagement among the client-stakeholders through product trading, product display or marketing, or even procurement of raw materials between areas, among others.

The PRODUKTO online site also highlights the story of the people behind each of the products showcased. Specifically, this highlights how each of the client-stakeholders are assisted through livelihood skills enhancement training and / or through seed capital assistance to become productive members of their respective communities, hence becoming the genuine PRODUKTO of the Department’s programs and services in the CALABARZON Region.
