In celebration of the Mental Health Awareness Month, the De La Salle Lipa conducted sessions focusing on building resilience and coping with stress to the residents of the Regional Haven for Women in Rosario, Batangas last October 17.

The Regional Haven for Women and Girls is a residential facility managed by the DSWD Field Office IV-A that provides temporary care to women and girls who are victim-survivors of abuse and exploitation. The center provides various services to help restore their normal psycho-social functioning prior to their reintegration to their families and communities.

Sessions on building resilience and stress management are part of the services of the center to help the residents cope with their situation, especially while inside the facility. The DSWD welcomes the partnership with various organizations such as the De La Salle Lipa in providing services for the rehabilitation and recovery of the residents of the center.
