The DSWD Field Office IV-A continuously advocates for the use of the Listahanan 3 database of poor households to local government units (LGUs) in the CALABARZON Region. In a series of fora conducted this August 2023, representatives of various LGUs in the provinces of Batangas, Cavite, Rizal and Quezon were re-oriented on the said database, including how the database can be utilized for their local programs and services.

The Listahan 3 database of poor households is a result of the house-to-house assessment of the DSWD that identified who and where the poor households are in the region. The said database is used by the DSWD in determining beneficiaries of programs for the poor including the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

The LGUs may use the same database for planning and targeting social services for poor households in their locality through entering into a Data Sharing Agreement with the DSWD.

To date, there are at least 17 LGUs in the region who have existing Agreement for the use of the said database. [with reports from MTBriones]
