Thirty-five staff of the DSWD Field Office IV-A finished the Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support Training in Lucena City conducted last August 8-11.

This training is part of the capacity building programs of the Department that enables all staff of the DSWD to be effective responders in times of emergencies.

The training, conducted in partnership with the Wilderness Search and Rescue Philippines, discussed first aid administration, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and patient transport techniques among others. [with reports from PPSLavariño]
