June 25, 2025 – The DSWD Field Office IV-A, through the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office, and the local government unit of San Mateo, Rizal celebrated the success of 100 family-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in the locality. Last June 19, 2025, these families graduated as beneficiaries of the program due to their improved level of wellbeing.
In the 4Ps, family-beneficiaries graduate from the program once they are assessed to have reached self-sufficiency or have the ability to stand on their own.
Hindi madali ang daan, may sakripisyo, may luha, at may pagod, ngunit narito kayo ngayon, may bitbit na dangal at pag-asa para sa inyong mga anak at komunidad,” shared Mr. James Joseph Opider, officer-in-charge of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, in his message to the graduates.
Moreover, he assured the graduates that the local government will continue to support and guide them towards their continuous development.
Meanwhile, the 4Ps graduates shared their gratitude for being provided with an opportunity to be given support by the program.
Malanday.
Catherine Villanes, another 4Ps graduate from Brgy. Silangan, shared her appreciation to the 4Ps not only because of the financial assistance from the program.
[with reports from FDTMOdetso]
