As part of the initial implementation of the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) grant for the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the DSWD Field Office IV-A tapped 60 4Ps parent leaders in Sariaya, Quezon last February 6 as partners of the agency in communicating this new program component to eligible co-beneficiaries.
The F1KD grant targets active household-beneficiaries of the 4Ps who have members who are pregnant and/or children who are zero to two years old. This grant, amounting to PhP 350 per eligible member, is part of the interventions of the 4Ps in promoting health and nutrition during the first 1,000 days of life for the foundational development of children.
Prior to receiving the said grant, members with eligible households are required to update their information through the regular manual updating of records and through the i-Registro.

As such, part of the orientation to the parent leaders was the use of the i-Registro, a new self-service online registration platform developed by the DSWD to assist beneficiaries in updating their information.
Household-beneficiaries of the 4Ps, who have an existing PhilSys or national identification card, can update pregnant and zero to two years old children in the 4Ps database using their smartphones with Internet connection. Aside from their identification card, beneficiaries have to prepare their supporting documents such as medical certificates and birth certificates.
The i-Registro platform is accessible at https://iregistro-4ps.dswd.gov.ph/.
Parent leaders from Sariaya are expected to assist their co-beneficiaries in the said registration. [with reports from JBManadan]
