In 2024, the DSWD had provided residential care to a total of 341 senior citizens at the Haven for the Elderly. This includes four (4) senior citizens who had been reintegrated to their families.

These residents also include 110 semi-abled residents and 48 other residents who are bedridden.

Each resident received 24-hour care such as provision of meals, clothes, and medicine as well as other services such as social, medical, psychological, and productivity services. These services enabled the residents to remain healthy and/or productive while inside the center.

The Haven for the Elderly, located in Tanay, Rizal, is a facility managed by the DSWD Field Office IV-A that provides care to senior citizens who are abandoned, neglected, unattached or homeless.

The facility, in coordination with local social welfare and development offices, also works towards reintegrating the senior citizens to their families or relatives.#
