The Saints Peter and Paul Parish – Siniloan, Laguna facilitated a youth recollection to 91 residents of the National Training School for Boys (NTSB) in Tanay, Rizal last June 15. This activity was conducted in collaboration with Red Cross volunteers from The Bride Water School Incorporated.
The youth recollection is a welcome activity at the NTSB as activities such as this enables the residents to practice their faith and interact with visitors.
According to Social Worker Rejane Obusan, this activity is important in the rehabilitation of the residents as they can share their experiences and they can also be inspired and seek guidance from their visitors.
Other than the activity, the church also donated sacks of rice, bread, and slippers for the residents of the center.
The NTSB is a residential care facility managed by the DSWD Field Office IV-A. It provides services for the rehabilitation of children-in-conflict with the law. [with reports from RRObusan]
