Nineteen (19) Sama-Bajau youths, who are beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from Batangas City, completed the training on life skills and basic facilitation conducted from June 8 to 10. The said training was organized and conducted by Association Seour Emmanuelle (ASMAE) Philippines as part of their Building Youth Leadership Program for the Sama-Bajau Ethnic Group.
The ASMAE Philippines is a civil society organization partner of the DSWD in the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in the CALABARZON Region.
As trained youth leaders, these Sama-Bajau youths will be partners of the ASMAE Philippines and the DSWD in leading and facilitating activities with their peers towards various advocacies including the promotion of children’s rights and the protection of children. [with reports from KBAnareta]
