August 05, 2025 – The 292 graduates of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from Majayjay, Laguna underwent livelihood training as part of their graduation ceremony last July 28, 2025. 

As an initial intervention, the local government, through the Special Livelihood Office and the Majayjay Parent Leaders Association, trained the beneficiaries on making perfume, dishwashing liquid, powder detergent, and fabric conditioner. This livelihood training aims to equip the 4Ps graduates with the capacity to start a small-scale business as an additional source of income for their households.

During the graduation ceremony, the local government unit (LGU) also expressed their commitment to continuously support all the 4Ps graduates to ensure the continuous improvement of their lives even after graduating from the program.

According to Jenzer Mae Quizon, the 4Ps Municipal Link in the said town, some of the aftercare services committed by the LGU are livelihood opportunities, skills training, and access to various social services of the municipality. [with reports from JMAQuizon/GEDimayuga]
