July 03, 2025 – The local government of San Jose, Batangas assured families who graduated as beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of their continued support to sustain the improvements in their living conditions upon their graduation from the program. During the graduation ceremony of 90 4Ps families last June 26, 2025, the local government highlighted various services that are readily available to the graduates to support their potential needs.
Included in the services available are financial assistance, medical services, and employment and livelihood support among others.
To facilitate the possible availment of these services, the local government and the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office issued ‘alumni’ identification cards and aftercare service booklets to all graduates.
Meanwhile, during the ceremony, the beneficiaries also pledged to continuously work hard to sustain their gains from the program and not slide back to their previous conditions.
“Bilang isang magulang na nakapagpatapos ng anak sa kolehiyo sa tulong ng 4Ps, masasabi kong napakalaki ng naging ambag ng programang ito sa tagumpay ng aming pamilya. Kung kaya’t ang lahat ng aral at karanasan ay aking babaunin para sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng ating kabuhayan at pagkatao,” shared Ma. Luisa Vergara, one of the graduates of the program.
Through a group pledge of commitment, all the graduates also assured the DSWD and their local government that they will help in the development of themselves and their families, including their communities. [with reports from MMGOrtazon]
