July 29, 2025 – Families affected by the continuous rains and flooding brought by the southwest monsoon and typhoons #CrisingPH, #DantePH, and #EmongPH in Cavite Province received a total of PhP 32.41M worth of assistance from the DSWD as of 4:00 PM of July 28, 2025.

The said assistance, majority are family food packs, have been released by the DSWD Field Office IV-A to the provincial government and 13 other local government units (LGUs) in the province. These include the localities of Alfonso, Bacoor City, Cavite City, Imus City, Kawit, Magallanes, Maragondon, Mendez, Noveleta, Rosario, Silang, Tanza, and Ternate.

Based on the latest report gathered by the DSWD Field Office IV-A, there are a total of 26,904 affected families in the province with 1,400 families still staying inside 83 evacuation centers across the province.

Meanwhile, the Field Office IV-A continues to coordinate with the LGUs in Cavite and the other provinces of the region to ensure that the needs of affected families are provided.
