July 02, 2025 – The local government of Lucban, Quezon assured household-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of their continuous support and interventions after their graduation as beneficiaries of the program. Last June 26, a total of 67 families were endorsed by the DSWD Field Office IV-A, through its 4Ps Municipal Operations Office, to the local government for their monitoring and assistance.

These families are those who have reached self-sufficiency based on the social welfare and development indicator (SWDI) assessment conducted by the DSWD. This means that these families are already able to support their basic needs even without the support of the program.

In his acceptance of the graduates, Lucban Mayor Agustin Villaverde shared to the beneficiaries that they are still assured of the continuous support of the local government to enable them to continuously improve their living conditions and not slide back to their previous situations.

Included in the services offered by the local government are health and employment-related services.

During the graduation ceremony, the households were also linked to various services including PhilHealth and employment opportunities. [with reports from IPRCabuyao]
