The DSWD, through its Field Office IV-A, has already extended a total of PhP 25.62M worth of assistance for the affected families of the southwest monsoon and typhoons #CrisingPH, #DantePH, and EmongPH in the province of Laguna. The said assistance has been released to 14 affected local government units (LGUs), including the provincial government, as of 4:00 PM of July 28, 2025.

Included in the LGUs provided with assistance are Bay, Biñan City, Cabuyao City, Calamba City, Los Baños, Lumban, Magdalena, Majayjay, Pila, San Pedro City, Santa Cruz, Sta. Rosa City, and Siniloan, Laguna. 

These LGUs are provided assistance, mainly family food packs, based on the reported number of affected families as well as the assessment reports and requests of LGUs.

Meanwhile, the DSWD has also provided a total of PhP 6.29 M worth of augmentation support to the provincial government.

All these LGUs have been leading in the distribution and allocation of these family food packs to the affected families.

As of July 28, a total of 35,415 families are reported by their respective LGUs to have been affected by the southwest monsoon in the province. Of this number, 4,256 families are still staying inside 148 evacuation centers across the province.
