July 22, 2025 – The DSWD, through its Field Office IV-A, has provided a total of PhP 2.67 million worth of relief assistance to families affected by Crising and the southwest monsoon in the CALABARZON Region as of July 22, 2025 (12:00 NN).
The majority of this relief assistance is composed of food and non-food items distributed through the requests of 13 affected local government units (LGUs) in the region.
Based on the latest report collected by the DSWD from the LGUs, the number of affected families in the region has already reached 7,945. A total of 5,611 of these families are displaced and currently staying inside 114 evacuation centers.
Meanwhile, the DSWD Field Office IV-A is continuously assisting the affected LGUs, especially in the assessment of needs in the evacuation centers as basis for the provision of needed augmentation support for the affected families.
