July 28, 2025 – The DSWD has already provided a total of PhP 96.5 million worth of assistance to families affected by the continuous rains and flooding brought by the southwest monsoon and typhoons #CrisingPH, #DantePh, and EmongPH in the CALABARZON Region. As of 4:00 PM of July 28, the said assistance was released to a total of 48 local government units (LGUs) in the region.

The majority of this assistance is composed of family food packs intended to help augment the daily food needs of affected families. To date, the actual count of family food packs released to LGUs is 120,716.

Other forms of assistance provided by the DSWD include ready-to-eat-food packs, sleeping kits, and hygiene kits.

Based on the latest monitoring of the DSWD Field Office IV-A, the LGUs have reported a total of 140,622 affected families. A total of 10,091 families remain in 384 evacuation centers managed by the LGUs.

To date, the Field Office continuously works with national government agencies and LGUs to ensure that appropriate services are provided to affected families and communities.
