July 24, 2025 – The DSWD has already provided a total of PhP 12.89 million worth of assistance to families in the CALABARZON Region affected by the continuous rains and flooding brought by the southwest monsoon and typhoons #CrisingPH, #DantePh, and EmongPH. As of 4:00 PM of July 24, families in 27 localities in the region received the said assistance, mainly family food packs for their daily needs.
These localities are those whose local government units (LGUs) submitted requests to the DSWD for augmentation support in the provision of assistance to affected families in their communities.
Based on the reports received by the DSWD Field Office IV-A from the LGUs, there are already 51,314 families affected by the disaster in 53 localities in the region. A total of 12,849 of this number remain in 349 evacuation centers managed by the LGUs.

To date, the Field Office continuously coordinates with national government agencies to ensure that the needs, especially in evacuation centers, are immediately provided to the LGUs and the affected families. Meanwhile, the Quick Response Teams of the Field Office in all the affected cities / municipalities provide continuous support to the LGUs in the monitoring and assessment of the affected families, management of evacuation centers, and distribution of aid to affected families.
