May 15, 2025 – The DSWD Field Office IV-A has started the search for model family-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in the CALABARZON Region. Starting May 2025, various city / municipal operations offices of the 4Ps in the region are conducting local level searches for the 2025 Regional Search for Huwarang Pantawid Pamilya.

The said search is an annual activity of the DSWD that aims to recognize 4Ps family-beneficiaries who serve as good examples in their communities through their family relationships and character, compliance to the conditions of the program, improvement of their living conditions, and participation in the development of their communities.

Winners of the search at the local level will be screened at the provincial level by June 2025. Meanwhile, the regional screening is scheduled this August 2025.

Last year, the regional winner of the search was the Hitosis Family of Ibaan, Batangas. Their family, whose source of income is through being laborers at a sugarcane farm, was recognized for their perseverance to uplift their living condition despite their circumstances.
