April 22, 2025 – Twenty-seven (27) residents of the Bahay Tuluyan ng mga Bata (Home for Girls) completed the school year 2024-2025 following various graduation and recognition activities in several schools in Dasmariñas City, Cavite this April 2025.
Of the total number, nine are completers or graduates of kindergarten, elementary, junior high school, and senior high school.
The Bahay Tuluyan ng mga Bata is a facility managed by the DSWD Field Office IV-A. The center provides care, protection, and rehabilitation to girls aged five to 17 who are victim-survivors of various forms of abuse.

As part of the interventions inside the center, residents are continuously being provided opportunities to complete their education.
According to Gretchen June Mendoza, social worker at the center, they are also proud that six of these residents received academic excellence, conduct, and special awards.
Other than formal education, four residents are also enrolled in the Alternative Learning System this school year and are all waiting for the result of their Accreditation and Equivalency Assessment and Certification.
To date, there are a total of 36 residents being provided with various interventions inside the center. [with reports from GJGMendoza]
