March 03, 2025 – A total of 840 families from Nasugbu, Batangas graduated as beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in a graduation ceremony last February 27, 2025.

These families are those who were assessed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development to have improved their level of well-being and achieved self-sufficiency status through the social welfare and development indicator (SWDI) tool assessment.

As part of their graduation from the program, these families were endorsed by the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office (MOO) to the local government unit (LGU) for the provision of aftercare services. These services ensure that the 4Ps graduates sustain the gains from the program and not slide back to their previous living conditions.

During the graduation ceremony, Nasugbu Mayor Antonio Jose Barcelon assured the graduates of the LGU’s continued support through various aftercare services such as educational assistance, livelihood and skills training, and medical assistance, among others.

Meanwhile, a livelihood caravan was also conducted after the graduation ceremony as part of the interventions of the 4Ps MOO, LGU and partner-stakeholders at the local level.

The caravan, initiated by the Lin Hui Kho Technical and Vocational, Inc. and the Counterpart Resources Multipurpose Cooperative, provided livelihood and skills training opportunities for the graduates to enable them to gain employment or start income-generating activities to help their respective families.
