Beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from the island municipality of Polillo, Quezon are grateful for the expanded health grants under the program, specifically targeting pregnant women and children zero to two years old children. In an orientation session conducted by the Quezon Provincial Operations Office last February 10, 2025, a total of 74 parent leaders were oriented on this new program component, including how eligible households can access this.
The expanded health grants, known as the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) grant, is an additional cash grant that will be provided to households with eligible pregnant members and children zero to two years old. Like all the other grants provided under the 4Ps, the F1KD grant will also be conditional in nature. This means that households have to comply with various conditions on health prior to receiving the grants.
Some of the conditions include monthly prenatal and postnatal consultations and availment of appropriate delivery services by a skilled professional for pregnant women. Meanwhile, children must undergo essential newborn care, routine immunizations, and monthly growth and development monitoring.

“Ang kagandahan ng karagdagang grants para sa mga buntis at mga bata ay magkakaroon kami ng suporta upang mabawasan o maiwasan ang malnutrisyon at pagkabansot ng mga bata. Sa halagang PhP 350 kada buwan, makatutulong ito para sa pambili namin ng vitamins at masusustansyang pagkain,” shared Willma Lyn Jean Ballesteros, a 4Ps beneficiary from Brgy. Poblacion who is currently eight months pregnant.
As part of the implementation of the F1KD grants in the 4Ps, eligible household beneficiaries are required to update the status of their members in the 4Ps database to begin receiving the said grants.
As such, the DSWD calls for all 4Ps households with eligible members to update their information either manually or through the i-Registro, a new self-service online registration platform developed by the DSWD to assist beneficiaries in updating their information.

During the orientation, Ballesteros and other beneficiaries with eligible members were assisted on the use of the i-Registro to update their information online. Meanwhile, the rest of the beneficiaries were oriented on the use of the platform so that they can guide beneficiaries in their respective barangays to do the same.
The i-Registro platform is accessible at https://iregistro-4ps.dswd.gov.ph/.
Household-beneficiaries of the 4Ps, who have an existing PhilSys or national identification card, can update pregnant and zero to two years old children in the 4Ps database using their smartphones with Internet connection. Aside from their identification card, beneficiaries have to prepare their supporting documents such as medical certificates and birth certificates.
In Polillo, households with eligible members from nearby barangays may also personally go to the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office on February 11 where they will be assisted in using the i-Registro for the registration. [with reports from MCGDucot]
