The DSWD, through its Field Office IV-A, is now able to preposition relief goods at the local warehouse of Cabuyao City, Laguna after the signing of formal agreement last February 17.
DSWD Field Office IV-A Asst. Regional Director for Operations Mylah Gatchalian and Mayor Dennis Felipe Cantera Hain signed the Memorandum of Agreement for the prepositioning of relief goods as a preparedness measure during calamities.

The prepositioning of relief goods in local warehouses of local government units in the region is part of the efforts of the DSWD in ensuring the immediate availability of relief items for families affected by calamities.
In Cabuyao City, a total of 1,700 family food packs will be stored in their warehouse.
In 2024, there are 21 LGUs with existing partnership with the Field Office for this purpose. [with reports from JMPFrancisco]
