February 28, 2025 – Beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Tagkawayan, Quezon start using the i-Registro in the updating of their families’ information to start availing the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) cash grants under the program.

Last February 25, a total of 120 parent leaders from the said town were oriented on the i-Registro and the F1KD cash grants in the 4Ps.

The i-Registro is an online platform being introduced by the DSWD to help eligible 4Ps beneficiaries to update the status of their households online, instead of the usual manual updating process. The updating of the status of households, particularly of pregnant and children zero to 24 months, is a requirement prior to receiving the F1KD cash grants.

The F1KD cash grant is an additional PhP 350 grant per month per eligible member to support the health and nutrition of children during their first 1,000 days of life.

Qualified beneficiaries are those active 4Ps households with members who are pregnant and children zero to 24 months old.

In Tagkawayan, Quezon, the parent leaders were tapped by the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office to encourage qualified beneficiaries to update their information so they can begin receiving the said grant.

“Nagpapasalamat ako dahil dahil agaran kong naipasok ang anak ko na 7 months old sa i-Registro. Malaking tulong ito sa aming mga nasa malalayong lugar upang mas mabilis kaming makapag-update ng impormasyon. Hindi na po namin kailangang bumiyahe ng malayo at minus na din sa pamasahe at pagod sa biyahe pagpunta sa opisina ng 4Ps,” shared Paula Dagos, a 4Ps beneficiary from Brgy. Poblacion, who updated her information through the i-Registro.

Meanwhile, Lylybeth Palies of Brgy. Poblacion is grateful for the additional grant under the 4Ps.

“Sa taas ng bilihin ngayon ay malaking tulong ang bagong cash grant ng programa, makakatulong ito upang ma-monitor ang pagpapacheck-up ng mga kagaya kong buntis at masigurado na walang buntis at bata ang kulang sa nutrisyon,” added Palies.[with reports from EUDiscaya]
