The Municipal Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Padre Burgos, Quezon provided skills training to 20 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program last November 27, 2024. These beneficiaries were trained on tocino and siomai making, which they can use to engage in income-generating activities to gain additional income for their families.
Majority of the beneficiaries are active 4Ps households from the municipality who are interested in starting their own businesses. Some, on the other hand, are already graduates of the program who still need additional opportunities to sustain their level of wellbeing even without the support from the government.
The said skills training was conducted in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. [with reports from NACalderero]
