Beginning June 2023, the DSWD Field Office IV-A has been conducting the Service Delivery Capacity Assessment (SDCA) in all local government units in the CALABARZON Region.

The SDCA is regularly conducted by the DSWD to assess the capability and recommend improvements in the delivery of social services of the local government units (LGUs). This assessment is conducted as part of the mandate of the DSWD in the monitoring and provision of technical assistance to LGUs through the local social welfare and development offices.

During the conduct of the SCDA in Guinayangan, Quezon last August 24-25, 2023, Mayor Maden Isaac expressed their LGU’s appreciation to the assessment.

“Ikinagagalak namin ang pagpapatupad ng SDCA ng DSWD dahil maaaring para sa amin ay tama na, pero mayroon pa palang maaaring pagbutihin. Ang inyong mga rekomendasyon ay aming tatanggapin para mas mapagbuti ang aming pagseserbisyo sa aming mga kababayan,” shared Mayor Isaac.# [with reports from SRFVillanueva]
