The DSWD is currently conducting a re-assessment of more than 140,000 household-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program in the CALABARZON Region.  These beneficiaries are those identified as ‘non-poor’ in the latest Listahanan database of poor households.

The re-assessment is being conducted by the 4PS field staff using the social welfare and development indicator (SWDI) tool. The SWDI determines the current living condition and vulnerabilities of the beneficiaries through various indicators including the employable skills, employment, income, health condition, education, housing, and access to social services among others.

In the implementation of the 4Ps, the results of the SWDI assessment are used as basis for the provision of appropriate interventions to specific households to help them reach self-sufficiency status. This also gauges the readiness of the households to graduate from the program.***
