DSWD Equips Field Staff through Mock Interviews for the 2nd Household Assessment

The Department of Social Welfare and Development conducts mock interviews during the training of the field staff for the conduct of the 2nd Household Assessment. The mock interview gives the field staff an idea and a first-hand experience in conducting the interviews with the households for enumeration.

The interviews showcase the data-gathering of the Enumerators and accurately filling-out the form according to the information gathered. The field staff further study and process inquiries and clarification from the mock interviews in the training group discussions.

The training equips the field staff in indicating accurate answers in the form according to the information provided and claimed by the respondent.

The mock interview is a part of the four-day training of the field staff in preparation for the 2nd Household assessment.

Listahanan is a targeting system, spearheaded by the Department which identifies who and where the poor are nationwide. The database of the poor provides target beneficiaries of the programs of the Department. The database of the poor may also be shared through a Memorandum of Agreement with the National Government Agencies (NGA), Non-Government Organizations (NGO), Local Government Units (LGU), Civil Society Organizations (CSO), the academe or other organizations with social protection programs.
