Thirty-five residents of the DSWD-managed National Training School for Boys (NTSB) recently graduated from Elementary and High School during the annual Graduation and Commencement Exercises  Jose Fabella Memorial School (JFMS) held last March 18, 2015 at the NTSB grounds in Tanay, Riza.

JFMS officials and faculties lead by Ms. Rosie A. Casono, assistant to the principal conferred the graduate degree to said NTSB residents – 18 Elementary students and 17 High School students.

The NTSB is a facility managed by the DSWD which provides residential and rehabilitative care to children ages 15-18 years who are in conflict with the law.  Among the services the center provides to its residents include educational services.  This service, which is conducted in coordination with JFMS, enables the residents to continue their education within the compound of the center.

Ms Haydee Dinglasa, NTSB center head, congratulated the graduates and challenged them to continuously value the importance of education as as it is the key to having a better life.  She also acknowledged the parents, visitors, guests and partner-stakeholders who took time to witnessed the graduation of the said boys and likewise reiterated to them the importance of their support in the rehabilitation of not only of the graduates bu of all the boys in the institution.***
