Cleofe Tarangco, the midwife assigned in Brgy Camagong, Alabat, Quezon, used to conduct health services and Pabasa Nutrisyon in shaded areas only.  But today, Ms Tarangco conducts the Pabasa Nutrisyon at the Kalahi-CIDSS constructed Health Center in the locality.

Twenty two mothers attended the two-day Department of Health spearheaded endeavor which teaches mothers the benefits of breastfeeding and the kind of food, supplements, and vaccines that babies should take to keep them healthy.

The health center is only one of 16 community sub projects constructed in Alabat under the Kalahi-CIDSS program.  It was completed in March 2013 with a total project cost of Php765,000.00, including local community counterpart.  To date, at least 226 number of families in the Brgy. Camagong benefit from an improved delivery of health service due to the center.***
