The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) warns the public against scams on a raffle promo purportedly drawn under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program which has reportedly been circulating through text messages.

This is after the agency received a report that a certain Hiedy Gomez is sending text messages informing recipients of winning a raffle promo under the Pantawid Pamilya program.

The reported text message says “Congrats! From President Noy-noy Aquino Foundation. 4ps-Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. Your sim won PHP950,000.00 2^nd prize winner, handog pangkabuhayan raffle promo! DTI P# 8103,S’2014, Pls txt your complete name/age/address/occupation Im’ Hiedy Gomez.”

The agency does not hold such promo and confirms the above message as scam. The public is also reminded that all official information regarding the program shall only come from DSWD and its officials.
