Residents of Haven for Women (Rosario, Batangas) were given a firsthand experience on how to prepare sampaloc candies during a Lakbay-Aral in Padre Garcia, Batangas recently conducted by the center. The objective of the visit is to provide residents with possible livelihood activities they can engage into upon their reintegration to the respective communities.  Aside from sampaloc candy making, they also visited families engaged in magic pillow-making and horticulture.  The said visit is conducted as part of the Women’s Month celebration of the center.
