January 9, 2026 – The DSWD Field Office IV-A, through the Quezon Provincial Operations Office of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), and the provincial government of Quezon began the preparatory efforts to support around 38,000 household-beneficiaries of the 4Ps who are targeted to graduate from the program this 2026.
In a coordination meeting with the provincial government last January 7, 2026, the provincial government committed the inclusion of 4Ps beneficiaries in the existing livelihood services of the province, particularly on the STAN on Skills Program.

This program provides free vocational and livelihood training that may be accessed by the beneficiaries to increase their opportunities for entrepreneurship or employment.
Permejo added that opportunities like this for the 4Ps graduates will ensure that they have the capacity to support their respective families even without the help from the program and prevent them from sliding back to their previous conditions.
Under the Republic Act 11310 or the 4Ps Act, all the beneficiaries of the program will be provided interventions for a maximum of seven (7) years.
During the seven-year period, the DSWD and the beneficiaries work together to address factors hampering the improvement of their living conditions in partnership with various organizations including the local government, other national agencies, and external stakeholders such as academic institutions and civil society organizations.
