January 26, 2026 – A total of 28 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from the province of Laguna gained new jobs during the local recruitment activity last January 21, 2026 in Calamba City. This recruitment activity was conducted by Fast Logistics Group in partnership with the DSWD Field Office IV-A and the city government of Calamba.

The Fast Logistics Group is a private organization-partner of the DSWD Field Office IV-A since October 2025 that provides livelihood interventions to assist 4Ps beneficiaries in improving their living conditions.

“Kinakabahan po ako pero naglakas-loob po ako. Masaya po ako lalo na’t natanggap ako sa trabaho. Malaking tulong po ito sa gastusin sa bahay lalo na sa pag-aaral ng mga anak ko,” shared Donna Briol, a 4Ps beneficiary from Brgy. Uwisan, Calamba City, who was hired-on-the-spot as a warehouse staff.

Manilyn Cabuslay, a 4Ps beneficiary from Brgy. Market Area in Sta. Rosa City, shared her excitement that she is about to start a new job as a warehouse staff.

“Pinipilit ko po talagang magkatrabaho para matugunan namin ang pangangailangan ng aming mga anak sa pag-aaral, lalo na at hindi sapat ang kita ng aking asawa,” expressed Cabuslay.

In November 2025, the Fast Logistics conducted the same recruitment activity in Cabuyao City and provided employment to 205 hired-on-the-spot 4Ps beneficiaries. 

Meanwhile, the DSWD Field Office IV-A continues to engage external stakeholders like the Fast Logistics Group to address gaps experienced by 4Ps beneficiaries that hamper the improvement of their living conditions. [with reports from LCOlaguir/NGCostramos]
