December 5, 2025 – The local government of Gumaca, Quezon provided cash aid to 28 parent leaders of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) for their support in the operation of the parent leaders’ desks in various barangays in the said town.

Last December 1, 2025, each parent leader received PhP 1,500 as incentives for the third quarter of 2025.

In the town of Gumaca, 4Ps parent leaders’ desks are established in the barangays offering various services to the beneficiaries such as receiving of documents for submission to the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office in the town proper as well as providing guidance for other program-related concerns including updating of profiles and filing of grievances.

“Malaking tulong itong aming natanggap mula sa local government dahil nagagamit namin ito upang mas magampanan ang aming tungkulin bilang parent leader,” shared Analyn Escultura.

She added that serving in the 4Ps parent leaders’ desk has given opportunities for them to better serve their co-beneficiaries.

“Malaki ang naibibigay nitong tulong dahil mas napapadali ang aming mga transaksyon, lalo na sa pagsubmit ng mga dokumento at paghingi ng impormasyon tungkol sa programa. Hindi na rin nila kailangang mamasahe dahil may malinaw na lugar na maaari nilang puntahan para sa tulong at gabay,” said Escultura. [with reports from MABNavallasca]
