December 02, 2025 – The provincial government of Batangas, in its effort to celebrate the continuing contributions of the DSWD’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in uplifting the lives of the residents, acknowledged the beneficiaries and stakeholders of the program during the Parent Leaders’ Congress conducted last November 28, 2025.

During the congress, the provincial government led the recognition of exemplary 4Ps families and children, parent leaders, and local government units (LGUs) for their contributions in the program implementation.

The Municipal Government of Agoncillo and the City Government of Lipa were recognized as the top-performing LGUs supporting the implementation of the 4Ps. Both LGUs received plaques of recognition and PhP 50,000 worth of projects.

Meanwhile, 2,475 4Ps parent leaders across the province received their quarterly honorarium, transportation allowance, and pamaskong handog as acknowledgement of their support to their respective City / Municipal Links and co-beneficiaries. On the other hand, a total of 360 4Ps graduates also received financial assistance as aftercare support of the provincial government.

Since 2015, the provincial government has been providing a quarterly honorarium to 4Ps parent leaders.

Governor Vilma Santos-Recto, in her message during the congress, announced that the provincial government will increase the honorarium to PhP 3,000 per quarter beginning 2026. 

Aside from the provincial government’s recognition of stakeholders, the Provincial Federation of Parent Leaders was also able to pass and approve their resolution to formally register their federation towards strengthening their roles in the program implementation and their community’s development.
