The KM Medical Hair Systems, Inc. will begin providing skills training this first quarter of 2025 to the residents of the National Training School for Boys (NTSB). This is after the formal signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the DSWD Field Office IV-A last January 20, 2025 in Tanay, Rizal.
Through the MOA, the KM Medical Hair Systems, Inc. will engage the residents in various livelihood projects such as skills training on wig making. They will also provide free materials for the project.

According to Raquel Bano, one of the social workers in the NTSB, the provision of livelihood projects is contributory to the successful rehabilitation of the residents. The skills they acquire from initiatives such as this will enable them to engage in income-generating activities once they are reintegrated to their families and communities.
“Ang mga ganitong training din ay nakakatulong sa kanila na mabawasan ang lungkot at makaiwas sa pag-iisip o paggawa ng mga bagay na hindi naaayon sa patakaran ng NTSB,” added Bano.
The NTSB is a facility managed by the DSWD Field Office IV-A catering to the rehabilitation of children-in-conflict with the law.
In 2024, the center served a total of 324 residents. [with reports from RCBano]
