62 YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE. DSWD Field Office IV-A celebrates its 62nd Anniversary, which highlights the contributions of partners and staff alike in the success of the delivery of social services to target clients in the region..

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office IV-A acknowledged the active partnerships established with the local government units, national government agencies and non-government organizations during the celebration of the 62nd Anniversary of the Department last February 12 at the Haven for Children, Muntinlupa City.

With the theme “Sama-samang Husay Tungo sa Tagumpay,” the celebration paid tribute to 68 partners who have been contributors to the achievement of DSWD’s commitment in protecting and improving the lives of the less fortunate, vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals, families and communities. The celebration also commended service awardees who showed loyalty to the Department through their years of commitment to their respective responsibilities.

Regional Director Leticia Diokno, in her message, thanked all the partners in their involvement with the Department in ensuring faster, reliable and better delivery of services to clients of DSWD. She also recognized loyalty awardees for serving the Department with passion and pride.

Former DSWD Undersecretary Lualhati Pablo, the guest of honor during the ceremony, shared how DSWD owes its current status to the various partners the agency works hand in hand with.

“At 62, the DSWD has become one of the most respected agencies in the country. The Department cannot go this far without the support provided to us by the LGUs, NGAs and NGOs,” said Former Undersecretary Pablo.

The Department encourages stronger and longer partnerships with the stakeholders for the continuous and successful delivery of social services to all the sectors the DSWD serves.***
